Plaisir is actually a one man band (Guy Accardo). Guy Accardo left the band Overdrive in 1981 to sign on Carrere and released one year later the hit “Fou de Toi” (1982). This single was a massive success ¬†and sold 750. 000 copies. 2 years Later, Plaisir released his second and last single “Visa Pour Aimer” (1984) which is also the most sought after single by 80’s boogie lovers for the amazing instrumental version. Plasir decide to dismantle in 1987.

In 1993, Plaisir made a reaparition under his own name Accardo with a cover version of Serge Ponsar’s hit single “Out In The Night” on Panic Records.

Guy Accardo is currently living in orlenas (France) where he’s running an hifi mega store.
