Private Party is the second album released by former Rick James synthesizer player Bobby Nunn. An Excellent electro funk LP featuring the ultra boogie killer tunes “Private Party” and “Don’t Knock It (Until You Try It)”. However, only his collaboration with Tata Vega on “Hanging Out At The Mall” was a dance hit in 1983. A third and final album entitled “Fresh” was scheduled in 1984 but Motown refused to issue this album and Bobby was later dropped from the label. The “Fresh” LP remains extremely hard to find as only a few test press copies were released.
