Review

Here comes Direct Drive first release ever on the British pop and soul Oval label.

The record features three different jazzy and funky tracks and all lead vocals are performed by Dereck Green and P. Hardcastle played the keyboards and so did they for the second band release “Time’s Running Out” the same year.

Both members left the band thereafter to create their own and then First Light was born. Helen Rogers was hired and joined Direct Drive to replace Dereck.
